On Heels of Announcing A Major Funding Round and Expanded Market Focus, Company Names Three Executive VPs and Two VPs
WALNUT CREEK, Calif. (December 10, 2019) – RecoveryOne, a leading innovator in evidence-based solutions that personalize and improve the path to recovery from musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions, announces the expansion of its leadership team with industry veterans. CEO Mark Luck Olson has assembled a new executive staff to include Miriam Beecham as Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer, Dustin Eggers as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, and Joseph Kinnett as Executive Vice President, Enterprise Sales & Marketing. The company also added John Araki as Vice President of Finance and Administration, and promoted Sean Kinsman, PT, DPT, formerly Head of Clinical Services, to Vice President of Clinical Operations. The new team will work closely with Olson and with Chief Technology Officer Chris Hughes, who joined the company in 2014.
Beecham will chart the company’s commercial product roadmap and all aspects of customer experience, developing, curating and applying content to the RecoveryOne programs and enhancing user experiences both for patients and clinicians. Most recently, she spent 12 years at Healthwise, where she served as the company’s Chief Product and Strategy Officer, overseeing the development of the digital health offering and playing a pivotal role in the evolution of the business.
Eggers is charged with executing the company’s expansion of strategic relationships with health plans and value-based health systems. Previously, he served as Vice President, Payer Solutions at Decision Resources Group (DRG), a global healthcare information and technology services company, where he was credited with developing and operationalizing a successful growth strategy for the company’s payer business. Prior to DRG, Eggers spent 10 years at a boutique healthcare strategy consulting firm, where he was a founding member.
Kinnett will focus on building the RecoveryOne sales team and overseeing the successful initiation of new enterprise agreements within health plans and risk-bearing entities. His career has spanned more than three decades of healthcare experience as an award-winning sales performer, developing and leading highly successful sales teams.
Previously, he was part of the executive leadership team at Physera, where he was responsible for developing the payer and self-insured employer market segments. Before that, he held sales leadership roles at UnitedHealthcare and Maestro Health.
Araki will focus on capital fundraising and financial planning, while also providing oversight of finance, human resources, compliance and facilities. He comes to RecoveryOne following a successful career in structured finance and commercial real estate.
Kinsman, who joined the company in 2017, has been responsible for ensuring RecoveryOne’s care pathways are evidence-based, and will continue driving an expansion into clinical care, including the Advocate recovery coaching program. In addition, he will now oversee clinical operations to ensure the company meets its quality, timeline, resource and budgetary goals.
RecoveryOne, formerly known as Trainer Rx, recently announced the successful completion of its latest funding round, led by Cigna Ventures. The new executive team will enable the company to expand its market focus and align with key partners, realizing its goal to maximize its impact on those suffering from musculoskeletal pain.
“This team brings the acumen to execute our strategy of embedding RecoveryOne into the services of health plans and healthcare systems, ultimately enabling us to reach as many people as possible,” Olson said. “Each of our executives has a distinguished track record and will play an integral role in establishing our company as a leading innovator in recovery from episodic musculoskeletal pain and conditions. I am thrilled to have such depth and breadth of experience assembled and collaborating within our organization.”
